DLC subscription
I bought this to see which DLCs I may be interested in buying. I created a beautiful park with a few rides and scenery from each. I cancelled the subscription but what will happen to the park rides I already built? Will they vanish into thin air or can I keep them in the already built park. Thanks

I suspect that anything with DLC content will become locked out when your access ends. I noticed that when I bought the DLCs in the past they did not have to be downloaded. That meant the content was already loaded it just needed to be unlocked. Though they did not specify what happens when you end a subscription, I figure that it is a simple process to switch the code that allows you access back to its "off mode." Probably you will still see the parks in your load menu but with a padlock icon or the like.
If no one has the real answer please let us know how it goes down.

This situation has been detailed I think. If you subscribe then cancel none of those DLC items will be available in your parks.

oh i can't afford that. I live in a 3rd world country. I was just checking them out for a month but in the real world that makes much more sense

Users have always been able to load parks & blueprints that feature DLC, even if they don't own them however you are not able to save unless you remove the DLC items.

An expired subscription would operate the same way, as long as you make all the edits you need during the entitlement period you could visit your park in the state you leave it indefinitely. You just wouldn't be able to improve it outside of that window.

I haven't really seriously priced DLC since I already own them, but I think I remember paying less than $5 USD each, on sale. What do they subscribe for, 5 Euro each per month?

Do the arithmetic, it would seem to me that owning is cheaper. Am I wrong?

Everyone seems to be missing the point. I AM NOT continuing the subscription because that would cost more. HOWEVER, I will not pay extra for all the DLC. I totalled them up and it's 4,000 pesos which is $80. Most likely, it would be half price as a bundle, so that's $40. Where I live, $40 feeds my family for a week. $40 will get me two months of cable and internet. It will get me 40 haircuts. Etc. I buy most games for about $5 and then only about one added every 3 months. I am poor. Thanks anyway for your suggestions.

I typically play this game for a few months at a time and then I stop for a long time only to come back a year later. Spending maybe 10-20$ to use it on the few months I feel like making a park sounds a lot more affordable to me. Owning is definitely better for some situations, but I think the sub model works well for this game for some people.

You might be onto a good idea then :) Subscribe for a month to test them all and then perhaps one by one just try to buy the ones you like over the course of time.

The 2 hours refund window allow apply to DLC.
No need to use that subscription BS!

You think two hours is long enough? How nice for you.

If you need a subscription to sell your DLC for people who are unsure, there's a bigger issue!
