Can't play offline?

This game uses Denuvo. If I'm not mistaken, that means paying customers have limited rights to this game compared to someone who would pirate it? Correct me if I'm wrong, please.

I play offline all the time...
Just run the game once online and then you can run it offline.
I agree though it's a hassle.

As long as there aren't any restrictions playing offline.
Hold up. Are you saying you have to let the game know you're online, then you can go offline to play?

You can play Planet Coaster offline using Steam Offline mode. The game will need to run in online mode once after each update of the game, and can be played offline again after that.

That being said, you'll need to be online to get updates and to use the Steam Workshop.

So are you saying that even though I would be offline, an update, while offline, would cripple my game?

No, If you stay offline you will not get the updates that force you to start up the game while online.
