So let's talk about Planet Coaster's so called "Offline" capability.

So, Frontier, are you pulling an Elite : Dangerous here? Is your supposed offline capability actually going to be much like your other game, promised but not delivered, because if you keep Denuvo in your game, you won't be able to deliver on the ability for the game to run in offline mode, and that means anyone who purchases the game, or already HAS purchased the game under the impression they might be able to play it on their laptop is going to get a very rude awakening soon enough.

I take it you -do- have an answer to this, yes?

Or are you going to hedge like you did on Elite Dangerous and much like in November then go "Oh, it's always online because you need to be connected for reasons"

Previous generations of DRM had updates too. That didn't save them in the long run.

Because colour printers became more common. So the developers tried something else, and kept reasonably on top of the situation...till starforce and securom...and we saw how bad they could be.

That isn't true, at all. An update isn't that simple when it's been cracked, it really isn't. It's not a stalling tactic either, because there is always a fresh amount of people of who see the game and think "Oh, I wan't that" and head over to the pirate bay, these people may buy the game, but the next fresh amount of people who see the game will do the same thing, and eventually there will be a new crack.

Denuvo has been cracked before. They have designed it to delay the pirates...they havn't been telling anyone its uncrackable. It just needs patching and it will be uncrackable once more...till it's cracked.

it was securom who destroy the industry before steam ..

we want to buy but denuvo = no way ......

it is like movie .... a popular pirate movie or game is a popular that people buy too ......

piracy a lot a game or a movie doesn't mean you loose money ....
a bad game is still a bad game .... and denuvo games doesn't always deserve to be cracked by some nerds....just cause the game is bad ......

Denuvo just annoy legal buyers ...... remeber Windows live or securom and others ....... no way to go this road and support that with my money ....... only for the good futur of ou hobby industry ...

Well, securom was a great example of how not to do it, there was a bit of a mix of all kinds of terrible drm around that time. Now of course, there is less reason to fear dvd writers, as everything is on the net now.

Take your Spore key and enter it into Origin; that version of the game purges SecuROM. Same with Red Alert 3, which I'm assuming you meant to say when you said "Renegade" (as in, the shooter from 2002?).
