One is hard to choose
Magnificent rides: It adds more flat rides and coasters to the base game. That is just about it. It is not really worth it if you want more construction pieces (only thing it offers is the Chair lift), but if you want more rides to mess around with, this is your pack.
World's Fair: An excellent expansion for those who want good building pieces, but little to offer in terms of rides. Pretty much the opposite of the Magnificent Rides collection.
Adventure: what it says on the box. If you want to build temples, adventure areas, jungles, etc., this is your pack. Less diverse scenery than the World's fair though, but with more diverse rides (gold rush and the Jungle Cruise). If you want to build something resembling the Jungle Cruise, this is what you use.
Spooky: Once again, what it says on the box. Haunted houses, spooky parks, rotten undead, this is that pack. However, it should be noted that this pack has more track rides, but few, if any, coasters. The trackless, and the classic Pretzel Dark Ride (check the Defunctland video on that).
Vintage: If you want to create an authentic amusement park from ye olde times of the mid 1900s, this is your pack. No? Well, there are several useful assets here, such as the wooden wild mouse, the flying turns, and the classic woodie.
Studios: If you want to recreate Universal Studios, or the now-defunct Studio Tram Tour in Disney's Hollywood Studios, or have a studio themed park, this is your pack. However! It has more use than just that! There are several effects, rides, and things that are overall useful in here! But there are some things in the other packs that may be a better thing to look into.
And now, for the licensed properties:
The Munsters is a fairly good compliment to the Spooky pack, and a nice-looking go-kart track, but, as I stated before, it seems to work best when complimenting the Spooky pack.
Knight Rider: I don't know what to make of this. If you're a fan of this franchise, you can get it, or if you want a sweet ride for your go-kart endeavours? I'm sure there's another use for it, but I can't think of it.
Back to the Future: Same exact thing as the Knight Rider, just with the DeLorean Time Machine instead of K.I.T.T. I would argue that this one has more merit though, as the DeLorean has several different wheel modes (flying, ground, train).
Overall, you don't need to pay for these if you don't want to, but if you deem any of these worthy, you can get them.
I'm the same and 100% agree. I enjoy having the worryless workshop searching and I may not be one of the best creators but I love having the extra pieces from all the packs to use in different "unintended" ways.
Anyone reading this who hasn't already got the game should pick it up asap (I paid full price and have no regrets at all). Play the base game do the misions and build a park and when you feel like you want to use a theme or a workshop item that requires it then buy that pack. Or just buy them all like I did once you realize how much Frontier deserves the support.
I've used these on several other games, and in reality I've bought DLC's I otherwise wouldn't have (especially soundtracks and digital art books), simply because it usually still works out cheaper to buy the bundle than individual DLC's.
Is it worth it for the studio to do this? I have no idea, but I can tell you I'm more likely to take advantage of a complete your collection bundle during a sale than buy individual DLC's on special. Bear in mind I still haven't even launched the game yet after buying it a year ago while it was on sale..
Check out DLC park and you can get a closer look at everything before buying,

It helps seeing it all spread out in-game and you can get a better feel for what interests you the most.
I personally rank them,
1. Adventure - I have a love for this theme in general and I love what they did with it.
2. Spooky - I like making haunted houses and decorating parks for halloween.
3. Studios - Great for triggered ride events, adds a ton of animatronics.
4. Magnificant Rides - A nice collection of rides.
5. Vintage - I was disapointed by the scenery but I love the bobsled coaster. (btw, wooden mouse came in a free update)
6. World's Fair - A lot of walls & food stalls. Many of the locations feel unfinished and the scenery is lacking. I do like it for the asian and diner build set + omnimover and bike coaster.
