This, or Vulkan. The performance of this game is one of the major key issues. If, like the moderator on here says, DX12 or Vulkan would solve a majority of the performance problems, then really it is a no brainer to actually update the engine to support those. Obviously easier said than done, but they have known about these issues since day 1, and of course, are continuing to release paid DLC, so really, fix up your game if you want to continue milking it. Had I known the game would cripple itself to 5-10 FPS after playing it for 30 minutes, i'd not have purchased it for the 3rd time (prior 2 times were riddled with game breaking issues that wouldnt even let me play!).
I'd imagine if the Jurassic World game is made with DX11 in mind, it will suffer the same problems in the long run. It is certainly a game i'll hold off on purchasing based on this games poor performance.
pc is different from jw with pc you have a lot more freedom than with jw so dx11 would be less important.
Only time shall tell at the end of the day, I don't hold high hopes at this stage however.
I am tired of moving the camera one moment and it moves painfully slow only to have it jump half across the map the next time I adjust it.
IMHO all devs should support modding. It really opens the game up to cater to more people. Usually when I do not like something about a game someone felt the same way and made a mod to address it. Increasing my enjoyment of the game and chances that I will follow future developement and purchase DLC's.
and un theme all coaster trains
Try building a fence around your ride, and including that in the blueprint. Then you know that when you drop the blueprint into the game, you've got all the space inside the fence free for adding paths.
In the Captain Lockjaw scenario with the Krakken Ride, I'd very much like to put a Sushi Bar right near where the tentacles pop out of the ground. Just how cool would that be, huh?
So maybe it would be nice to be able to create your own Shops, and add whatever attributes and extras might be applicable. Set the default prices and set what most people are willing pay. Like a Taco Stand that makes you thirsty, right? Or a Frappacino Stand. And appropriate signage to go with it.
Speaking of which, I remember in RCT being able to advertise FREE shops, like, say, the Fries Shop. Which of course, makes the people thirsty for your over-priced drinks ...
Roller Coaster Ideas: Pinfari Roller Coaster Track and Trains, Intamin Launched Looping Roller Coaster Track and Trains, Mack Wild Mouse, Schwarzkopf Looping Roller Coaster Track and Trains, Family Launched Roller Coasters, Gerstlauer Infinity Coaster Track and Trains, Single Rail Roller Coaster with One Seater Cars, Vekoma Junior Coasters, Four Seater Wooden Roller Coaster, Bolliger & Mabillard Sitdown Twister Roller Coaster and Bolliger & Mabillard Hyper Coaster with prototype v-shaped staggered seating arrangement trains. Not all of these should or have to be in the game but at some point maybe one, three or possibly five.
1 - pathway ehancements - making it easier to lay pathways, large squares/plaza's easily would be really helpful as I struggle with this
2 - the ability to manage the vendors more in sandbox - don't want to have them all keep leaving while I am still building my park - can we have an option to turn off and on the staff features
Instead of being stuck between a small bush and a large tree, it'd be nice to take a large tree and make it just a little bit smaller. And a small bush and make make it just a little bit bigger.
And if the leaves would scale properly, that would be AWESOME. Double the size of the tree, and double the NUMBER of same-sized leaves. But that's probably asking for too much.
Yeah it would be, like a set of interactive tutorials similar to how Roller Coaster Tycoon 2 and 3 had them. That would be lovely, instead of just a playlist of YouTube videos.
and I fourth this. I just got this in the current sale. Another thing I'd like to add to the "things to point out" is this:
I've spent the last hour or so in the first Beginner Scenario, and once I started it, I got the notification that "Many guests are trapped inside the park." But I can't for the life of me find out where they are trapped at, so I can remedy it. There's several other Alerts(mainly the Location based ones, like for shops, rides, etc), that have a button on them to take you where the location is so that you can remedy the situation. But with this one about the trapped guests - there isn't one, so IDK where they are trapped at so I can help them out.
