Stuck on "Starting Download"

I don't know, if this is an issue tracker topic or not, but here's the problem. When I start PlaCo, it immediately goes to validation/starting download. But it doesn't go further than that. I reinstalled the game (with 14 Mbs) but after that, it is stuck at starting download with 3kbs. I've tried all the usual suggestions: Clearing download cache, repair game folder, setting game not to update. Internet speed is fine (as I said, game itself downloaded at 14Mbs).
My theory is, that it wants to download some workshop item and has an issue with it. Is there maybe a way to skip that? Or has someone another suggestion?
This is only an issue with PlanCo. Every other game starts just fine. Like Planet Zoo or Farm Manager 2021.

Sorry to hear this. I do not think it will be the workshop causing it as all workshop items would be added manually after the install. Have you tried searching at issues.frontier.net? Make sure you search first rather than just leaving a report,

Thank you for your reply. But I failed to mention, that I have this problem since I loaded a park file with Toolkit Items, that needed to be downloaded. Since I confirmed that, the process is stuck. That's why I've asked for a way to skip that.

Btw your link isn't working. But I have been looking at the Frontier page, but nothing there comes close to matching my problem.
Looks like I'll have to try and reinstall steam and hope for the best.

MrHappy, thanks a lot for your input, even if it didn't bear fruits. I reinstalled Steam and it's working again.
