If that fails try joining the end closest to the normal path to the normal path.
Remember also paths generally won't join if they cannot e.g. if obstructed or too close together etc.
but something sunscreem didn't go too much into detail only pretty simple speech of it is yes you must place the priority entrance and exit first then go ahead and click on connect priority path up do not use the path menu for it am pretty sure none of that works for priority pathing and join it up how ever you like even tho its pretty limited to what you can do with a priority path, it also doesn't really matter if you place the entrance at the front just has to connect somewhere along the queue path longer the better the priority use will be, so yes you could make a priority that only skips like 3 people / 1 group in say 110 people line if you wanted, not sure if any of the ai would use it tho but you can place it like that if you want and try lol.
i suppose you have also set up the information shop to go along with this priority as well as there is only slim chances of a spawn ai already with a priority pass most of your guest will have to get it from the information shop at what the price you gave it.
Also noticed the priority pass options vanish from the ride window if the scenery etc tab is open- so don't panic if that happens, it's just a case of closing the items tab.
You can set them for each ride to low to high priority so experiment for your rides.
Goatlife's right as I've just had to set one up- you click in the priority path option on the ride to place the entrance/exit where you want them on the queue line. THEN link them with a path (I've used queue path, not tested yet but that should work!)
Guests enter it from the queue line then exit back into the queue nearer the ride to basically jump the queue for extra money, totally fair cough cough.
