There are trainers for max money but don't bother with it. Personally, I hate hacking and hackers themselves.
Decrease the interval between inspections, especially for coasters that like to break down a lot. I almost always set everything to 10 minutes, and if that makes my mechanics overworked, I hire more.
You don't pay them to have fun, but you don't pay them enough to not have fun, if you follow.
Three things make employees unhappy: not enough work, too much work, and not enough money. Check their thoughts, they'll tell you their immediate complaints.
Sometimes it pays serious dividends to train them to at least the first level. Apparently, when first hired, they're "Interns" and don't become "Regular Employees" until they've had One Training session. You don't even necessarily need to pay them much more, but they do need that initial training. A side benefit, that also seems to make them happier.
Don't worry about that too much. Guests are always thirsty or hungry or want a souvenir or whatever. Turns out, I think, they want something NOW, and the game pops that up as a guest complaint, where if you investigate closely, you'll find they'll satisfy that desire in a few minutes coz there's a shop just around the corner.
Nothing you can do about that, hire another one. Maybe set up a Work Roster around the busiest areas, like near the exits to puke-inducing rides.
Depending on the scenario, you just might be stuck with that. Sometimes you just need to hire 1 mechanic per 2 rides and use a Work Roster so he spends all his time on those 2 rides. Maybe 3, play around with it.
Let me ask, which Career Scenario are you playing right now? Each one has different restrictions and challenges, and you might get advice specific to that scenario.
For example, some scenarios let you build a "Staff Room" where your employees can relax and replenish their energy and/or happiness. If you have a Staff Room, you'll need to hire about 10 or 20 percent more employees so that somebody will always be on the job while somebody else is on their break.

Go to thrill rides and build "ascendance" close to the entrance of the park if you can. Make the cue like a snake. Not too long but sort of long for the cue. Change the price to $20.00. the people just coming into the park won't care because they got in free. Make enough money to make another of the same ride. I would make 4 of them very close together if you can.
Check your park list for shops and see which ones have the worst profit and close them or move them if you can. Put the shops close to the rides exit. It helps to pay attention to what they want.
Don't be afraid to fire a lot of your staff especially if they got upgraded. With the staff rooms make sure they have a perk. Preferably something to keep them happy. If they look miserable fire them. It's no good for the guests to see them that way.
