Can't drag game to second monitor!!
Please help. I have this game installed on my 13 inch mac book and I would much rather play in on the larger monitor I have plugged in. It won't let me drag the windowed game on the second screen. I can manage to get the full screen version dragged over but it still wont open up to the full size of the monitor. Can anyone offer any ideas? My mac book has been updated completely.

Can you adjust the resolution in the options menu after moving the window to the second screen? (maybe also try switching to windowed and back to fullscreen again on the big monitor).

Yes I've tried both of those options... it's like my second screen has COVID and the game doesn't want to touch it. I drag it over and it snaps right back to the laptop screen. When I finally manage to get the full screen over to the monitor, it seems to be stuck in full screen for the laptop and it doesn't stretch out to cover the full resolution of the monitor. I'm curious if anyone else has experienced this. And for some reason, they don't make it easy to ask the developers for tech help.

I think the reason it is so hard to ask the developers for tech help is because the developers are basically no longer supporting the game. They seem to be too busy coming up with DLC's for Planet Zoo.

I am not sure, but I believe you may need to go into your Display Settings and make the larger monitor your Main Monitor.

At least I'm pretty sure that's the way you'd do it on Windows. I can only imagine the Mac has something similar.

I just got the game today and was looking for the answer to this.

The only solution I could find is to mirror your displays which works ok but then you're tied to the max resolution on your laptop's display rather than the better resolution on your external monitor.

If anyone does have a solution please let us know.

Solution: Go to display settings in your Mac and set your external monitor as the main display. Then, running the app from Steam client on the external monitor worked for me. Hope this helps someone. Cheers.
