Documents / Frontier Developments / Planet Coaster / User Media
Then when you place the screen all files in that folder will be available to select.
You can put songs into / User Music and these will be available on your speakers and rides etc.
Probably the best use I've seen of a home video inserted into the game is in a "dark ride".
The ride can be built with screens in different positions, so when you ride, your movies can trigger on those screens, then you can show anything you like. You can have a movie of an infinite tunnel going off into the distance, as your car ambles by. You can have a movie of your "spaceship" being bombarded by "meteors." All sorts of things.
Certain things may be impossible to actually build in the game, but the only limit to in-ride movies is your imagination.
Nice idea!
Coz it's Eye Candy for Human Players.
It won't affect the game, it doesn't affect the computerized peeps, but sometimes the human player walks among them, riding the rides, looking at the scenery.
Sometimes somebody makes a video of the experience and loads it to the Steam Workshop and Youtube. That is directed to a human audience.
Have you spotted your Avatar yet? The game adds it in sometimes. I remember I went on a ride once, and I looked around, saw the guy sitting next to me, and I said, "Hey, that guy's shirt looks familiar." Sure enough ... I was riding next to myself!
If you're just worried about the peeps in-game, then it doesn't matter having a "Chief Beef" sign advertising the "Ascendance" ride. There really aren't enough distinct signs for all the stuff you might want to advertise anyway. For in-game, it doesn't matter, so long as you do have some advertising. But if you're going to make a video to publish on Youtube, then you might want the advertising to make some kind of sense.

if you hook up some fireworks to the vista point it can help with any fireworks goals.
but yeah V2-Retro here is saying make the guest watch the screen by putting a vista point right in front of it so it makes people stop and point/watch the screen.
