Can't start the game, game hangs on startup

I made a ticket but I figured I'd ask here too.

When I start Planet Coaster the icon shows up in my taskbar but nothing happens beyond that. If the game is the focused application I can't click on anything, which tells me that the game is taking the mouse, except it's not doing anything. I have to force close the game by going into the task manager. I've tried restarting my computer, verifying the cache integrity, uninstalling and reinstalling the game, and deleting the config files in appdata to see if that would fix anything. Any ideas?

At this point it would be best to wait for a solution from Frontier Support, since you have created a Support ticket.

I should update this with my findings.

I fixed the problem myself, it turns out to have something to do with Big Picture. If you have Steam set to recognize your xbox controller, Planet Coaster won't start. Turning this off resolves the issue.

I have the exact same situation now. The game worked on Monday, then it has done the update and hasn't worked since. I have restarted my computer, reinstalled the game, updated windows, but I am now experiencing the same issue as above where the icon appears on my taskbar but doesn't load etc.

I have tried several ideas from Google/YouTube and this forum but none have worked, and I do not own a Xbox/Steam controller so that has nothing to do with it.

Anyone any ideas?

How do I raise a ticket as that is possibly one of the only things that I haven't done?

HOLY CRAP! I seriously have uninstalled the game twice. Reinstalled drivers etc....but THIS worked! Thank you so freaking much!
