Syncing two coasters?
Is there anyway to sync two coasters to launch at the same time?
I would love twin coasters both going at the same time.
I'm sure you could sdo this in rct.

I've almost finished a sprint 500 drag race with a guaranteed photo finish at 125 mph... was tricky but used different speed drive wheels to make both trains arrive at the launch section almost simultaneously. One arrives momentarily before the other (prob less than 0.1 sec) so it looks like they start at the same time and the difference makes maybe a 5m lead by the end of the straight track. Also has working start lights....Yay! Can give more details if you need but it is basically using block section theory with a tweakable delay from the drive wheels (put between the station/block section and launch sections). P.s- this is made with one coaster with two parallel launch sections not two coasters...

will upload it when it's done - keep posted!

In the way you are asking -- without doing it all manually -- not yet.

You were definitely able to link coasters in RCT to create "racing" coasters, but currently there's no way to do it in this game.

Have a look at this if you want to see the one coaster method http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=813392002&searchtext=drag+strip

One way to do it is to start one train and wait for the first train to return and then start the second coaster as soon as the other comes to a full stop. You also have some control in the coaster settings withy our wait timing. If you have an inside running coaster that is running faster setting a longer hold on it can help. Basicly it takes trial and error.

yeah it was possible in rct3 (and rct2 i think but not 100% sure) if the stations were adjacent to one another.

In PC there is a workaround, you might have to "resync" it sometimes, though.

What you need to do is work either with the interval setting or set the min/max waiting time to a no-margin setting like 50s min waiting time and 50s max waiting time.

You'll need to experiment a lot but it should do the trick for the most part
