Building complex custom buildings

Is there any guide I can look up or video to watch or something?
I am starting to grasp that you can assemble individual parts into a single "building" that can then be copy&pasted. Still dont fully get the entire grid thing and how to rotate stuff "freely" when snapping to the grid. All that sorta stuff.

Honestly, apart from learning how to use the building editor, there's not much to learn - it's all just putting in the time and effort.

One trick to learn, though, is that some complex buildings are actually multiple buildings and scenery objects stuck together.

I'll try tossing something together and putting it up on the workshop in the next through days.
