Resolution help
I changed the resolution to my PC to a setting where the apply button is off screen. In other words, I'm stuck in a low resolution setting with no way to revert it back. The settings window takes up the whole monitor. Please help

Try this

-Open Steam.
-Go to the "Library"
-Right-click the game which needs to be reconfigured.
-Select "Properties" from the menu.
-Click the "Set launch options..." button.
-Remove any launch options currently shown.
-Type -autoconfig in the box.

Just tried, didn't work. I guess I should tell you now nothing works in launch options. The game completely ignores any command I give it

Applications which allow you to both change font size and resolution make me cringe because things like this happen, even with the "keep revert" boxes. The "keep" button should be next to the accept button, that way the conditions can not be kept if button is out of the viewable area in cases like these.

Deleting the following file
%LocalAppData%\Frontier Developments\Planet Coaster\Config_Local\Graphics.config.xml
should reset your graphics options to default.

You could edit it manually with an xml editor. Make a backup then edit:
C:\Users\*username*\Appdata\Local\Frontier Developments\Planet Coaster\Config_Local\Graphics.config.xml

Just paste the address in an explorer window of Windows.
1) Open an explorer window
2) Paste this in the address bar located at the top: %LocalAppData%\Frontier Developments\Planet Coaster\
3) This opens the folder which contains the file that you need to delete.

This topic is already 7 years old. But still relevant! I am very happy that I found this because I have the same problem. On the previous laptop everything works normally, but since I have a new laptop I have this problem. Tried many things including: Tried different settings. GPU driver update. Deleted and reinstalled Planet Coaster. Even bought a new cable from laptop to external screen. Nothing. But this is the solution! Thanks!
