How do I add a second monorail station?
I need to add a second monrail station to an existing track layout. How do you do that? Also, I cannot get any ridership. I don't know if that is because I don't have a second station, or because the ride is too boring wtih dull scenery. If the latter, a monorail isn't ever going to compete with a coaster for excitement. I've added flames to the queue, etc. and upped the scenery score to above 50% but it doesn't help. Do I need to go higher? 3 hours in to messing with the train, I am suspect that it is bugged or not balanced correctly.

When editing the track of your current station, change the menu where you select the track and click to add a second station

Typically people give you a good idea of why they don't want to go on a ride. If it's because they think it's boring then you can add some scenery along the track to make it a little more interesting, or put some more rides next to it. Also it is a transportation ride, I have to imagine that if there's only one station and not much to see along the way, then people aren't going to want to ride on it.

So I was also trying to add a second station, but I can't find the menu option to "add a second station". CanI get some more detail on how to add this? Thanks.

There is no special option to "add a second station" you just build more station pieces, and they automatically become another station assuming there's track separating them. You do it from the edit the track of your current station.

Example:

Build 5 station pieces. - this will be station 1
Then Build 4 track pieces.
Then build 3 station pieces. - this will be station 2
Then build 4 track pieces.
etc

They can be whatever number of pieces you want, I'm just giving an example.

as long as theres track in between them separating them, they'll become their own individual stations.

station, track, station, track, station, track

hope this makes sense lol.

I'm told that i have exceeded the track limit :/

If it's not letting you build more station after the track, make sure the track is straight? I think you need a minimum of 3 track pieces in between each station. Make sure they're straight, not sure if it works with curved. I'm not sure about track limit, I haven't had that issue.

In my super limited experience with the game (specifically even less experience building coasters), "exceeding track limit" means the track physically doesn't support the auto-complete function, like when you're two squares away from the station and you try to click the "link" button to just have the game automatically fill them in.

Typically adjusting the curvature/trying to fine tune the alignment helps resolve this.
I can't get my track to connect to the new station it keeps saying obstructed. How do you connect a second station to the existing track?

When you build your second station, did you chose the station from the "track rides" menu? Or did you build the station with the track-editor while editing your existing track?
I figured it out. I was being stupid thought it was with track editor. All I had to do was choose the station and add like any other piece. Thanks for reply.
