How much money do you make? Do you have a job? Or are you a poor student/unemployed?

One person's $50 well spent is another's waste of money. Nobody can tell you what to spend your money on, or what you will find value in.

Everyone said "Skyrim is the best it's totally worth it"... I played it for 1 hour and got bored. Waste of money IMHO.

If you like to be creative, there is a lot in here.

I guess it won't be worth the price if you are among the people that just plunk down buildings and are already bored in most of those "tycoon" games.

I'd say to look up gameplay videos from multiple sources.
Some people just spend hours to put bushes and lighting until they are satisfied with the result, others play more with designing rides, and others play more along the management side.

I have disposable income. Out of sheer principle i wont pay $60 for ANY video game no matter what it is.

I paid $40 for this game, due to the sale it was full price , im not going to play it nearly the amount of hours i played Skyrim but yes its worth the 40.

The thing is you never know what future dlc/expansion packs will be added so why not pick it up and just keep it around : )

When Skyrim came out i had an average puter and bought/played the game. Then the following year i upgraded to a ( at the time ) beastly puter and played Skyrim again as a mage to see all the cool effects the new puter could produce versus my older puter.

This game is good, its amazing graphically with decent content. Theres always the chance a Star Wars or Jurassic set of themes could come out with more animatronics and or special effects............... then the game would be outstanding as far as im concerned.

The point is its worth buying/having/playing today. The possibilities of future content make it a must have for any coaster fan imo : )

I was going to wait for Black Friday sales before I bought it but I felt that as soon as I knew it was Frontier who also developed RCT3 which I loved, like others, it was a done deal. As for DLC - let's just hope it doesn't go the way of Borderlands 2! I know there were 2 DLC expansions for RCT3 which brought in the more interesting stuff. Perhaps they will go that route. 2 large (ish) packs that bring many hours more to the game.

yes

Well if you were to ask me, I'd say wait until a few stability patches have been released. For me the game is constantly crashing.

Maybe.
are you okay with:
-Low amount of rides/content on release
-8% of people having crashing and optimization issues
-Not a hardcore management game like other RCT games tend to be, it's more laid back and easier.

If none of that concerns you everything else seems to be phenomenally well done and would be more than worth it. If any of that discourages you then wait.

its worth the price if you like an editor where u can change small details, use your creativity and build the little things for hours - go for it
if you like a game with a good management and financial aspect to it - dont even bother

i refunded it btw.

It has economic, management component? or only the design and construction?

Very low on the management side, its not designed to be a manager by the looks of it, just create parks with either a singular theme or multiple diverse ones and making a proper effort takes time, i spent 10 hours in alpha just designing the entryway that people first seen when they walked intto the park...lol

As the others have said, it depends on what you're looking for. The sandbox side of the game is awesome, but the management/gameplay side is severely lacking and unchallenging.

So, if you want to build and be creative, check it out. If you want gameplay and park management, wait a bit to see how Frontier builds on this side of the game, if at all.

It does, but none of it has much, if any, impact on the game. This aspect needs a lot more work.
