People not riding my rides
I have built three custom roller coasters and one of the coasters from the blueprints, no one is riding the ones that I custom built but will ride the blue print one. Is this just a matter of them not liking the ride or is it an actual gameplay issue?
EDIT: I saved and restarted my game and when I came back all of my rides excitement and other numbers were red, so maybe a glitch with the hud giving me the wrong info. Thanks to everyone who helped!

Just look at what the people that dont go in think. Most likely its too extreme.

I spent 4 hours to custome build a coaster yersturday. it cost me more than 30000 and spams the entire park. I feel the effort was totally worth it as it is now the park's major attraction and every ticket sells $25, yet the line up is crazy. I really don know what happened to yours mate

I don think being extreme is a problem, my coaster is extreme to the point some parts of the track drop down exactly 90 degrees like free fall, and people love it

Test it while having the heat map on, it shows the real time scores of the 3 catagories, 1 or more than 1 is way over the threshold that makes people say " no ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ way " im ever riding that thing.

all three of the numbers were green, the fear and excitement and nauseous were all in the green and they still got to the line and just turned around

When they turn around select them and see what theyre thinking. The que line might be to long.

if all three are green and people are turning away, it could be because it's too expensive or not decorated well enough.

Sounds stupid but did you test and open your ride?

Yup, then on the other side of the park, some dude is freaked out of his mind and losin his guts in a bush saying, "the lighting was great! And i love what they did with the bandit shooting at the other bandi...bletch"

If people aren't getting on your ride, there are common causes:
  • One or more of the stats is red or extreme (more than 5-6 on Fear or Nausea will greatly reduce ridership).
  • The price is too high for the excitement level of the ride
  • (rare) The ride is too far away from entrance of park.

Good scenery will always help the coaster attract guests. Even the Merry Go Round goes from being able to charge about $5 to closer to $8 when queue scenery rating is 100%

I hope this helps

No.

If you create a ride where the G forces turn people into mashed potatoes, the people will usually prefer to not be turned into mashed potatoes and so they won't ride.

If you want people to ride, you have to make it exciting and scary, but not too much. They won't ride if it's boring, and they won't ride if it'll kill them. You have to find that "Goldilocks Zone" in the middle.
