Guests do not react to low prices? Or they hate ballons
I put a ballon shop and nobody never ever bought a ballon. Then I put all ballons for free still nobody cares. Why such a huge aversion to the nice ballons?

Perhaps they are filled with hydrogen?
I guess its helium, but hydrogen would allow the teens to blow up stuff, so even better. The point is they are free.

I think the gift shops just run their course and then die off, regardless of what pricing you set. My hat shop was on fire with making me money, then it was losing me money every month. Same with the balloon shop, sold like crazy and then nothing.
I had that with hats but with ballons didn't even got the initial shopping frenzy.

Yeah there has to be something wrong with gift shops as they keep closing no matter what kind of prices I set. I do have a Balloon shop that actually sell ballongs, but my two other shops does not seem to get any customers. I hope they fix some of these annoying issues as it is really annoying having shops that just does not work.

I can understand the initial boom: None of your guests have ballons so you get a nice little rush. After this, the sales should slow down as only new guests to the park would buy a balloon.

But, you should always be selling at least a few ballons unless your park simply gets no new guests.

when you 1st build a gift ship all the guests will want something from it because they don't have the item. but once your whole park has bought something they usually don't ever use it again even if it's free they don't want the same items. and the only guests that buy something are the new guests just entering the park. old guests usually stick around until they are out of money that's why they aren't buying anything anymore.

I've put in a balloon shop, priced it at 10 cents, and still not sold a single one. I'm calling this bugged.
I wonder if we can blow up the ballon by clicking on it like RCT2. I loved doing that, but till now nobody bought a single ballon in my park.

Well it's completely impossible to make a profit of balloons in my experience. The other souvenir shops work fine. About $50,000 profit over 20 years.

That does not seem to be the case for me. I have tried rebying a gift shop and barely anyone visits it. Lots of people pass the gift shops, but just a small number buys anything from it. Most sales I have seen any of the shops generate before they close down is about 10-15 sales.

And if they have made it so visitors never visit them again, they really need to make one sale count way more than other shops. Same with priority passes, they work like you say that a lot of people go and buy from them, but then it ends.

I really wish they scaled down the timescale for this game, it is so fast and it is just not fun. The micro managing of stores is the worst feature this game has imo.
