Guests complaining of long queue's even when using short queues?
Im having an issue with my ride queues. Basically I have a coaster with a small queue and 9 minute wait and 35% of people are complainign that its too long. I figured adding a priority queue would fix this yet they still complain.

How do I sort this issue out?

Well when i get that in my game, i just add more stuff to do for my guests because for me its basically saying that my guests need more things to do. Maybe try adding a couple of more rides and some facilities (: that can help (it sounds like you only have a coaster)

In my games long ques usually indicates that the majority of the people go there aka few things to do. Though even in a full oark i think its hard to avoid that due to the amount of guests youll have at that time.

Around that coaster I have 6 other rides, a mix of 3 gentle and 3 thrill. There are shops and seating areas too. Not sure what else I can do really.

Out of curiosity Jordan what is the scenery rating on your queue?

Im wondering if its linked to that. Ive got a gentle ride that ive done a 100% scenery theme on it and noone complains about that.

i have a coaster with a scenery rating of 100% and even if theres about 20 people in the queue, i see the waiting time jump to about 10 minutes then plumet to 2, which lowers the amount of people who want to go on it, and i have two trains.

Oddly enough this only seems to happen when the queue itself is too short. I started building longer queues (rides further back from the main paths) and I don't get them anymore, or at least very rarely.

Im guessing there is some sort of bug here then. Doesn't seem to make sense for people to complain about queues when they are short.

make the queues longer, but also put the ride prices up so that your queues wont fill right up but yet have a nice queue lenth.......you need to find that nice balance in pricing, play with it.

Try adding more carts to the coaster, maybe that can help

it does it with ANY ride though

It really is a balance between the length of the queue you created, how much it costs to ride said ride, and the scenery rate. Also be mindful of the width of your queues. I noticed I ran into a lot of issues with the default width setting on queues with them either being too full or too long. I shrunk them down to the minimum size and so far I will only get some complaints about it being too long.

At that point it just becomes a balancing act of pricing and queue length. However, for some rides I think queue complaints will be relatively unavoidable for things like high thrill rides or really popular things like coasters and some track rides.

Totally agree, and with the water ride they complained about being too long, even while charging $33 pp and no complains about being too expensive i went and built a 2nd water ride. Yes that solved the problem.

there is defnitely something weird going on and has to be fixed. I just played the Suzaku park from the workshop and it has only 2 attractions. a whirly rig family ride with 100% queue scenery and the main attraction coaster with 100% queue scenery and a very high track scenery rating. While 9 minutes is too long for this amazing coaster, people stand 40 minutes in line for that ♥♥♥♥♥♥ whirly rig!! Prices don't even matter, I made the coaster free and they still wouldnt want to wait 9 minutes. there were 3000 people in the park and they were just shoving each other at the entrance!
