I just got a response from my support ticket. They say to shut down all antiviral software and other programs running in the background. And to unplug any unnecessary USB devices.

I've already done these things and it didn't work for me.

I could not get Visual C++ 2015 to update on my Win 7 install. You can either try a complete reinstall of Win 7 and hope Microsoft Update will be able to update it's own software this time, however, you will lose all your installed programs, settings.

I just upgraded to Win 10 instead, but beware I got the 99% install issue, F_King Microsoft s_t.

What usually helps:

1. Uninstall ALL Microsoft Visual C++ in your programlist (there may be alot of them as windows update seem to have problem with their own microsoft stuff)
2. Reboot
3. Download and install latest Microsoft Visual C++ 2015 Redistributabel
4. Reboot
5. Play the game

Hey, i had it too. I had a black screen after starting up the game. I did a update for my graficcard and it seems to be good for now. I have a Nividia GTX960M, and a i7. Maybe i can help you with that. Mike.
