Not the kind of game condusive to multi-play at same time, however, you can share the map, between friends (but you must agree on saving protocol, saving and sharing) . However apart from Landcsping (with good communiaction betwen you all) you can use a map saved between all, build and save as blueprints, then when it's you turn to save the map in your friend group rotation add the buildings rides you've made.

It's all about communication really and Multi player between good friends I see as certainly possible:)

Would be cool if you could go into peoples parks as a guest

OpenRCT2 managed to make multiplayer work in a game like this... but it literally amounts to being able to build collab parks live instead of having to distribute the save file, nothing more.

Man, I like the idea of being a guest. you could have a certain amount of money to spend in someone else's park.
It could be like a mini walking sim, or park survival game. lol

Or, you could apply for a job!
totally asymmetric play!

RCT2 did it by giving your guests "proxy powers", so anything they did was interpreted by the game as something the host did and then it sent the new park data to everyone who was watching. It's doable, do it!

*OpenRCT2. The original RCT2 didn't have multiplayer.

If only the Store page had an indicator about whether a game was Single Player and/or Multiplayer, oh wait it does.
