How to change the height of stations or rides?

My settings say i have to press a key and move the mouse up and down but if I move my mouse i just move the camera? So what am I doing wrong?

try pressing ''x'' and you should be able to move it down I think.

Hold shift and move mouse if you only want to raise/lower an item before placing it.
