breakdowns happen too frequent

ive been playing this game but i became quite frustrated as the rides just break down too often.

some rides only last 3 runs, some break down every 10-15 minutes and because of this frequent breakdown i'm mostly running into the negatives at some point and i rarely have money to actually build or research stuff.

and trust me i increased the price of every ride until people started to complain it's too expensive and i still found myself going bankrupt.

last time i played all rides went defect and my mechanics left the park 1 by 1 as i couldn't pay my staff.

is there a way to get around this or like a mod that extends the breakdown time by like 4x?

I use the cheat code...just rename a ride Frontier and you will have no breakdowns. Sometimes if I don't want to rename an active ride I build a coaster station and name THAT frontier. I put it way in the back so it's out of the way.

Have your mechanics inspect your rides every 10 minutes.
It won't stop breakdowns entirely but it will reduce the frequency of breakdowns significantly.
You can also refurbish your rides to remove age related wear and tear.

I have noticed it's really dependant on the ride itself... some sadly break down more than others... Also for roller coasters you want to be careful if a train runs into a lift hill going too fast it also breaks the ride faster
