Can't build custom coasters?

I'm having trouble building my own coasters. When I click one of the coasters I just get a sample coaster that I can place just fine but i want to customize it. I'm pretty sure I've missed something but I can't find anything when I search for it. Thanks in advance :)

what do you mean you want to customize coaster....... in what way ?

Are you clicking on a blueprint? That's the only time you would get a complete coaster. You might be clicking on one already subscribed to or one Frontier made. You should only see the station when you choose a coaster to create.

Click on the Coaster icon on bottom of screen then Custom tab (not blueprint). See if that helps

When you go to the Coaster tab, make sure at the top left of the menu "Custom" is highlighted, not "Blueprint."
