They should combine all these threads. If people would read the forums they would see that it is talked about constantly so why make new ones. But it will never happen in this game ever. Saying it more won't make them change their minds. It's not in their future.
I'm happy with the water rides we have now.
Planet Coaster really needs this feature added to the game, what is the point of a theme park where it's only coasters and not with any water slides or pools? This is a clear fault, this needs to be added anytime soon in my honest opinion. The game itself seems to be incomplete without this. You never know what the developers are trully currently working on, you never know for certain, they might surprise us and might actually do it. Never be so negative in what it seems like, they may or may not do it, you never know. You don't know what the developers minds are on, this is a really cool feature to the game. With so many discussions about the same topic, surely the developers will come to realise that this is what fans of the game really want to see next! ;-) I'm not going to argue any further, whatever the developers deliver, it'll be good as it is. I think they're doing an amazing job with the game so far, hope they change their minds and consider it. It would be an absolute miracle and a dream come true for many people if they do it, then it would be the perfect theme park game.
I also heard somewhere else that somebody said that it wouldn't be a DLC, it would be an entirely different game which doesn't make any sense to me at all. If they work on it bits by bits at a time, it is possible to deliver, no need to rush. I know it's a whole new process to work on something entirely different on animations, effects ect. But if they put their minds to it, sooner or later, it'll come, or something very similiar in a future DLC.
Even if it takes a very long time to do, take your time...
It's not that the developers can't do it, it's that they're not willing to do it and have already made up their minds, it isn't impossible to do. It's that they've never done it before, they need to come out of their comfort zones and try out something new. It's a whole new world and a fun experience to work on, and best part is, they can do anything with it. Nevertheless, i'm not telling them to do it but I am encouraging them to do it. Point said, period...
Banjotails, I read your comment and I understand what your saying and what this Bo Marit is trying to explain but tell me this...
If RCT3 was such a big game in it's day, then why did it have so much more content including coasters, pools, water slides, animals ect than Planet Coaster? It has less better graphics but that's no reason why they cannot do the same for Planet Coaster with more content like RCT3, all they need to do is make it run propally and be compatible to run. That is all that is needed and is required. RCT3 in it's day, is a far bigger game than planet coaster can ever be for now, the graphics would have been so good for people when that game first came out, and look at all the content that was included, so why wouldn't they do the same for Planet Coaster. There is no reason why they cannot do it. They are far more capable than you may think and that they think they are. All it needs is patch and bug fixes, then it'll run. Any game is possible to run no matter how big it is, even if it's really open world, it's hard to explain, can't put it into words. If I knew how to explain it fully, I would. The game will still be able to run, your CPU/laptop whatever you may be playing on just needs an upgrade in order to run it. Save up, then you'll be fine. But this depends on how big the file size is to download and install, and disk space of course. Could be MBs, GBs, who knows how big it would be but look at other games for instance that are much much bigger than Planet Coaster, so it is possible and the developers are very much capable to do a water DLC pack. I never said it would be easy, but still possible. I have to say though, I'd be surprise if say the next DLC pack said "Water pack" and it included what everyone was been asking for, that would be crazy.
Let me explain something to you, when you install or download a game, it installs in a specific file. Disk space is required as well. Now, when your disk is too full, you need to clean the disk for your CPU to run better. Defragmenting and scanning your CPU for problems is very good as well.
When a file is too big, means your disk is almost or is full.
if you have lots of disk space on your computer and the game still isn't running, then it's time to consider depending on how old your CPU is to...
1. Get a better graphics card.
2. Get a better GB Ram.
3. Your CPU has to have really good memory.
4. Get a better processor.
If your CPU doesn't meet the requirements, there are many deeper details I can explain but this is basically all you need. It's very expensive, but it's worth. ;-) Even if a game is really big, check the system requirements as well. If it's better than recommended, it'll run. If you have an insane CPU, you can put it on highest settings without any lag, even if a DLC was very big, still runs. Take this in no offense, only trying to help you and especially encourage the developers to make this DLC, even if they don't, yes it would suck heaps but game is still very good as it is already.

Hi everyone!
Thanks for keeping the discussion in this thread positive and constructive.
We are aware that some of the community have been keen on getting a waterpark DLC or expansion pack. Currently we have no plans to develop this. We don’t feel that we can deliver this in a way that suits Planet Coaster, meets the quality level you deserve, and offer it at a reasonable price point.
We understand that this might cause a little disappointment with some of you, but please know that we have looked at all of our options and believe that this is what’s best for the game overall. Rest assured, the Planet Coaster dev team are still hard at work on the game. Watch this space for future announcements !
Thank you for understanding and your continued support!
Bo
My view:
If a water park game idea was done by Frontier it would be a full new game of just that. A Water Park Game.

Meaning the thing will crash the current game and may just get far to big. And we can make more money by marketing and selling a new game and DLCs of add ons of slides and trees and chairs etc and have a whole new feel yet the same and a new workshop. tho kind of cool if you could use building blueprints across both games.
So for now.... Let it go Elsa :)
The "Currently we have no plans to develop this." part gives some hope for the future?
They could change their mind if enough of these threads keep popping up? If they had absolutely zero intention on ever adding it wouldnt they say that instead of leaving it so open ended?
Thank you so much for your reply. It's fine with me now that I know the truth, now I can leave this thread in peace. It kinda sucks that there won't be water park rides at all, or ever, but I understand. ;-) I wish they could have done it but it's alright with me that they can't. Well, now I know, *sniffs*, I'll be fine, I'll live.
With all due respect, it isn't that water rides 'can't' be made for Planet Coaster. it's more likely closer to what Banjotails stated:
