Flat ride prestige can be increated by adding additioanl sequences and by having triggered event special affects connected to the sequences. A scenary rideskin also also adds to the prestige.
For rollercoasters and tracked rides, ride triggers connected to special effects and scenery like coaster doors, station decorations, and scenery along the tracks add to the rides pretige.
Guests get bored if the ride looks boring. They want to look at the scenery while on the ride. A coaster that goes through an unscenic area of the park is going to be rated "scenery very low" when you look at the testing results and not get many prestige points
Also some of the family flat rides have low prestige ratings because they have only a limited amount of sequenes you can add. Bumper cars, sky watcher, big wheel, horror heights, magic twirl, monte leonne, radius, victory, wisshorn and whirly rig are some examples of low prestige rides that will never get up to 5 stars in prestige.
The low prestige flat rides I was talking about max out at 2 or three animations. Radius is the worst at one animation with a high breakdown rate. Star wheel, big wheel, bumper cars, and sky watcher max out at two animations. Those are going to be the lower prestige rides in the park and will limit the price you can charge for the ride to $10 to $15. As they get older and the ride loses prestige they turn into money losers. That's why I avoid using them if possible.
