Yeah there are a lot of changes, and I tried to adjust but its just too much of a fuzz. Then again, its not about a roll back to a former version, I'd simply like to start anew. With the changes done, just so I can work with them right away.
Might reinstalling do it? Or will steam cloud prevent that?
According to a post i found on the frontier forum this is how you reset progress in Planet Coaster
Carreer / campaign progress is saved in a folder that is located with your locally saved parks:
"%userprofile%\Saved Games\Frontier Developments\Planet Coaster\12345678901234567\Saves\uniqsave_player-"
Additional info
Replace "12345678901234567" by the unique number of your Steam ID.
Replace "Saved Games" by the folder name used in your version of Windows if you are not using an English version of Windows (for example, Dutch translation for Saved Games = Opgeslagen spellen).
Replace "Documents" by the folder name used in your version of Windows if you are not using an English version of Windows (for example, Dutch translation for Documents = Documenten).
You can paste the address without quotes in the address bar to open the folder.
You can rename or delete the folder to reset your campaign progress. You might need to disable Steam Cloud for Planet Coaster as it may replace the folder. Launching the game will generate a new folder.
This procedure will also reset your in-game avatar.
The original post can be found here: https://forums.frontier.co.uk/threads/how-do-i-restart-the-career-mode.491962/
In an effort to find a solution on the Steam Discussions forum, I came across this post of yours from years back. The light bulb moment was when you named the uniqsave_player- folder which contains the compressed file with all the important data. Luckily I had a backup on my PC and I was able to restore my career data ok. What a relief. It's hard to describe.
Thank you again
