Also, the 3D view can be misleading. Try checking it from different angles. You might find out that, in order to connect, the piece would have to turn 90 degrees or some such, and most of the tracks can't do that in too short a space.
I did another test of the weirdness that it is, seems to be the track piece itself that is the issue...
Here is the example:
Went to end of track where same piece that I am trying to connect just goes to, from another attempt to fix- Still same issue
https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1740871417
Deleted a section off to it, on it's own

"It just works"
https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1740871785
The length of the track was at max and was a bit of a turn and drop, so it seems to be some sort of track issue...
I could just redo the entire track piece that is causing the problem, but it doesn't make sense why this simply won't work
And get rid of the extra piece in the middle of Pik 2. I've never been able to complete a coaster with floaty pieces in the middle like that.
Although, now that's it's connected, maybe you just need to select a section and click "Straighten Track Height" so it'll be less extreme.
Disconnected a turn piece that can kinda be seen in pik 1, before that is just a straight section that goes all the way to the station, before it had to turn, deleted a section, connected the middle piece to the end with some jank turn, doesn't matter, it just works...
Anyways, because it's exactly straight and has exact proportions, it could connect exactly... of course this is the perfect setting...
also not sure if you understood the example, pic 1 simply removed a piece so i left that middle piece seen in pic 2, yeah don't usually leave track sitting there but it was an example...
Still doesn't explain why my second example didn't work...
Might be due to that entire track piece having a section that was close to the ground, so entire track just couldn't do it... ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Well anyways thanks for the help tho, and for anyone with similar issue, this can be a problem of such, I tried looking, they just said "fixed it" and no explanation....
