People turning around before getting on ride
I just started a new park. I have put in only one ride so far as well as a bunch of shops. People approach the ride then turn around. A few people have gone on it so I know it isn't the paths. I have set the price to 0 and increased the speed to increase the excitement factor. I have added scenery around the ride but almost everyone is turning around, usually when they get to the start of the queue.

Guests turn around when they're not interested.
Maybe something about the fear rating is putting them off?

I've jacked the speed up as much as I can (the only comments I could see suggested it was too slow). Is there any other way to increase the fear factor?

Try selecting the people in the group. Chances are they'll have a thought you can see to figure why they don't want to ride.

If the ride is one of the new boat rides, there is a bug. They are treated as transport rides by the people. Frontier is working on it.

When you see one of the people change their mind and turn around at the queue entrance, click on them to bring up their info panel - they should have a thought balloon explaining what they didn't like about the ride. (Too expensive, or too scary, or "I don't have enough money", etc). by the way "too expensive" and "I don't have enough money" don't mean the same thing. "too expensive" means "The ride isn't worth the price. Even though I could afford it I don't want to.", while "I don't have enough money" means "I totally would pay this much if I had it, but I don't".)

"Don't have enough money" usually indicates that installing a few ATMs might help - this is a guest that was willing to pay but had run out of their planned cash. (The game tracks how much money each guest walked into the park with and when they run low the only thing the guest can do is just wander around or leave).

Great points there dunbaratu ! I always have at least two ATM'S around food courts, at each "ends" of the food courts, and, an ATM around a LARGE coaster !!

Good suggestions, everyone. I think it might be a bug as awarenesslogic suggested. I think it might be fixed now. However, the ATMs is a good idea as I often have people with thoughts of not having enough money.
