Theme Park World?

Well some of you maybe know the Game "Theme Park World" its an old Game released back in 1999.

I really liked it because of the Artstyle and the different Worlds you could approach.

So my Question is...as a Person who loved Theme Park World...is Planet Coaster worth it?

Can you Compare Theme Park World or are both games totaly different except that they are Games about building are Park?

Look into Parkitect if you like the artstyle of Theme Park World.

Parkitect is better if you like the style of RCT2, whereas Planet Coaster is better if you like the style of RCT3.

I've played both. TPW was cool, but it thematically is not like Planet Coaster or RCT3. The big difference IMO is the rides. In Planet Coaster, RCT3, etc, rides are based directly off of real ones, whereas in Theme Park World, rides and pretty much everything else was very fanciful. I prefer the realistic approach.

Also Theme Park World is as old as the original RollerCoaster Tycoon, so keep that in mind.

For me is important if the feeling from Planet Coaster is the same or kinda like the same like Theme Park World... For me Theme Park World was the best Theme Park game i played but since its very old its really hard to get it running so i kinda want a new Theme Park game which feels like Theme Park World but i never saw any Theme Park game that remindet me at Theme Park World except Planet Coaster

If you're not sure and never played any of the original RollerCoaster Tycoon games back in the day I'd recommend picking up the Roller Coaster Tycoon Classic Collection which is really cheap and still runs without problems on today's hardware.

Planet Coaster is most directly comparable to RollerCoaster Tycoon 3 as that was also developed by Frontier back in 2004. Planet Coaster is a spiritual sequel to that game.

well i dont really like the artstyle from the Tycoon games from what i see/saw and the looks overall from the game thats why i didnt bought any Tycoon game so far

I played that back in the day, PS1 and CRT TV, must have been early 2000s.
