I don't have enough money to visit restroom.
I set the price of the restroom to $1, but several guests are complaining that they don't have enough money to use it. When I check they all have more than $100.

Guests have a set amount they are willing to spend on rides/food/gift/etc so, it's possible that this person(s) simply wasn't willing to pay to use the facilities. Is there an ATM avaliable nearby?

That's a strange one. Perhaps Holyvision is right. But usually when something is too expensive.....that's what they say."<xxxx> is so expensive" or something like that. I also see them say they can't afford a ride but haven't checked to see if they actually can.

I only say this as I have noticed this same thing with food/drink stands. Sometimes guests will say they do not have enough money when there actually 'is' enough money in their wallet. I theorize that the different group types (family/teen/adult) each have different break-downs in terms of how much money they are willing to spend on say food vs rides; one group may put 35% of their money towards food and gifts, and save the rest for rides or etc. A supporting data point to this is when this happens at a food stand, typically I'll find that the guest/group in question has already spent x-amount of money on food/etc prior in their visit, so I just assume they've spent all their "food budget" and are saving the rest for other activities in the park.

In my mind, I see each group as having a max amount of their total funds they are willing to spend for each category (rides, entry, food, gifts, etc) that adds up to "all the money in their wallet". I also believe they have a "potential max" funds for each category, that represents what they may-or-may-not be willing to go pull from an ATM if properly motivated with an awesome park and good offerings. For example, a family may enter with $100, denoting that $25 of it is for food and gifts, however with a possible max of $40 if they are happy enough and motivated enough to be willing to use an ATM.

Personally, I wouldn't be happy about pulling out money from the ATM to go take a bathroom break! Possibly there are just some people that denote a max-budget of $0.00 for what they see as "utilities/services".

No arguement. Did not mean to imply you were wrong, more that the game should say they don't want to spend $ rather than can't afford when the could.

No sir no argument at all never even registered that way remotely; was just explaining my own take on the situation in an effort to share data with others for the sake of figuring stuff out.

I agree, more information and/or a better understanding of the choice(s) the guest(s) are making would be invaluable to figuring out stuff like this.

Set a ATM next to it. Or you know, don't be Dutch and make it free. :P

I love the theory behind this idea, but as plenty of other threads showcase. Even a free ATM still results in people not using it while complaining they are out of money.

To be fair, that at least that's one snag that was still in the older games Frontier worked on, compared to "Wait, they solved this in RTC3. Why is it gone/worse in planet coaster?"

Except as I stated in the OP, I checked the people and they all had more than $100. How does an ATM help or remedy this?

I would love it if the guests would go in the bushes or behind the buildings in protest of costly restroom admission.

I always do it when im starting off challenge modes, 4 toliets in a small area with only 3 -4 rides draining $100 a month each running costs, why not make some profit off it at first to build more rides.

I always out of principle remove the cost after im making enough money. But it does help mitigate costs when starting out with limited cash.

I had 1 of those toliets making a profit of $900 a month xD

I do the same thing on the Hardest challenge settings. If on hard i'll do the same thing but will adjust to keep profits at a break-even level.
