Why can't the multi selection tool be used to delete paths?

Unless I'm using it wrong, the multi selection tool doesn't pick up paths when deleting. Does anyone has a better way on deleting paths?

There is an easy tool to delete paths in the path editing tool. Alternatively, you can hold down [delete] and move with the cursor over paths.

I hate it, when you have to make a blueprint to simply copy multiselected objekts. :/

I never had to make a blueprint. Select your multiple objects then select the duplicate and advance move button. It will make a copy of evrything you selected and then allow you to move the copy.
