how to place picnic tables?

trying to build a food court but no matter what picnic table i select it's always red and won't place it. only place i seem to be able to place them is right outside the door of a shop?!

thanks i thought i was the only one to have this problem. they will probably fix the bug eventually.

since i have never seen this issue with any of my parks with te new tables in them, ( 12 atm) i can only assume there is something wrong with your path/grid. i had built a coaster a while bck and altho the path looked perfect, they kept stopping halfwaydown the stairs and bunching up for no reason. after deleting tht 1 square and replacing it, they started moving again. maybe try this here.

Are you using the grid option for paths? There are videos out there on youtube for paths

So, placing tables is just like placing trashcans and benches. You should be able to place them on any path tile or directly adjacent to any path tile as long as there is nothing obstructing it. sometimes guests can trigger a blocked placement. Using space wisely one can make food courts and picnic areas pretty much anywhere on flat ground.
