Strange coaster sound?

Ok, i'm not a coaster-expert at all. So i have to ask:

On a few coasters - for example the typhoon - i have noticed a strange, clacking sound during the majority of the ride, primary at high-speed sections. It sounds similar to the security-clamps on lift hills but is audible all the time. I noted, that the video about the Galaxy Express, a guy posted a few days ago - was containing this noises too. So it is not a sound-problem at all.

What is it? I never heard such noises on real rollercoasters, so where does it come from and what is it meaning?

Yes, I noticed that too. And in reality this noise doesn't exist on almost all coasters (at least not that I know). There are exceptions to this, for example Schwarzkopf loopers sometimes do that noise, especially in the looping, example here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-51vDfQXods but thats also not really the sound you are looking for, so my guess is that they... uhm... screwed up.

As far as i can tell, the sound from the video is just vibrating metal plates from the looping-cover. Jea, that is not really what i meant. In the game in sounds more like a permanent active security clamp. I think, it would be interesting to bring into knowledge, on which real coaster type the typoon is based on, and then take a look if this ride is doing the sound, too.
