Shops that family groups prefer:
Looney Balloons
Pizza pen
Juice
Teens:
Energy drinks
Fries
Hats
Adults:
Momento
Coffee
Everyone prefers and will buy:
Chief beef
Milk shakes
Water
Your age groups will not travel across your park based on shops, only by rides. They will stop at a shop they happen to walk by on their way to a ride if it matches their preferences.
So, place shops just outside or on the way to rides with fear tolerances matching the group that prefers the shop to maximize their sales.
For example:
Gentle rides (low fear)= looney balloons
Thrill rides (high fear) = hats
All around rides (green medium fear) = momento
Be aware, if they pass a chief beef or shake shack before they get to a specialized shop like fries, they will fill up on the beef and not buy fries.
This is hard to get right and make a profit on every shop. Watch you guest demographics and invest in shops accordingly.
Whoever came up with the model above must have been smoking some crazy stuff
Anyways, making certain shops profitable it indeed requires a bit of strategic placement.
It's British, not American

I knew someone would make an unnecessary comment on a obviously sarcastic post.
