Why's This Game so Expensive?
Why is this game so godamn expensive? I was looking to buy this for a game I could play in my down time, when I found out this game is incredibly expensive. I've heard multiple people say $40 is a fair price, but it's honestly not. With the amount of content this has to offer compared to other games, it does not even come close. However, some still argued it was this expensive because of the hardworking devs. Still, not true. The devs are hardworking from what I've seen, but not nearly as some of the incredible games that are out there currently. So, what's the reason for this game being $40 USD?

I'm confused. You don't own the game. How can you rate the amount of content or its quality without playing it?

Would you trust a review of a game from someone who hadn't played it?

The game certainly does lack content compared to classics like RCT3 in terms of the number of rides. However, the game excels in the versatility of the building tools and the coaster editor, allowing you to create things that you really couldn't in previous titles. The new scenarios are enjoyable and there are major improvements to graphical polish and attention to detail. I've gotten over 200 hours out of enjoyment out of the game so far, and I would absolutely say the game is worth the money.

RCT3 had more rides from the beginning. But we do get more and more free updates for PC.
RCT3 was what is was, this game keeps on growing....

See, this may actually push me to buy the game. I'm considering it now. It sounds fantastic from your point of view, and if it has that amount of playtime, it may be what I'm looking for. People criticizing the fact that I spent all of my money on textbooks for college and now have just enough to buy this won't help answer my quesiton, nor add any input to the conversation at hand. I just wanted to know really why this game was pricey-er compared to MOST triple A titles.

You can design all the rides you want.

Glad I could help. Just keep in mind that a lot of this game's enjoyment comes from your own creativity. If you're not the sort of person who enjoys building and designing things then you may not get as much enjoyment out of it as I did.

400 hours and i consider it's just the beginning. For less than 40$, yes it's fair.

The truth was said !

Definitely hoping for updates that give more content, but this game is fun. I'm more of a sandbox player, couldn't give a rat's rear-end about campaign as long as I'm having fun, but I certainly feel like I am getting my money's worth.

That having been said, the game was $60CAD for me.

it's worth it

In my country this game is 15 dollars cheaper than most AAA games. And unlike most AAA games I've actually put in over hundred hours into PC.
