Cant get sequencer self activation to work..
Am I missing something? I have a sequencer with a self activation type set to "specific time" and it's set to 9PM however every time 9PM rolls around none of the fireworks go off. What am I missing

Yeah, something is a little off on the sequencer controls.

I ended up having to set it for continous activation with the time restriction box checked to start at 9pm and end at 10pm. however my initial show was shorter than an hour so it runs twice but i'm fine with that (it will finish the show regardless of end time.)

I think some of the sequencer options are for mixing multiple sequencers together. Either to be a Main Sequencer or a sort of subroutine sequencer. I wish I had to time to delve into it further.

Have you double checked the opening hours for your park? It could be that you have a trigger sequence running after the park closes. I had a similar issue until I set a 10 a.m. to 11 p.m. opening time with trigger sequences run at 8, 9, 10 & 11 p.m. it was my first dabble in sequencing only a few weeks ago after a four month break. I find that if the park closes at 11 the 11 o'clock show doesn't always go off, however with the three other shows it doesn't matter so much. Firework shows generally stop people spending money on the rides for the duration of the show. This is pretty typical of fairs and fireworks events.

(Side note:- I used to work on a travelling fair in the UK and have worked firework night events in November. It's pretty typical that a ride will not be as busy while the firework show goes off.).

I hope that helps you some.

^ It works fine for me. I'm not sure why yours isnt working. I typically set my times to be around 8:15 or 8:30, not exact on the hour. I'd try it.

I've been racking my head with this problem the past hour, and I can't seem to be able to find a solution, online or in the game. I have a 30 second runtime display with 50 different fireworks going off in five second intervals. I'm sure I have all the right fireworks selected, I can make it go off manually. I also am sure I got the times right, and I'm sure my park is open at those times. I've tried checking the months it's on from the calender icon, selected or not selected, doesn't help. I can also make the fireworks go off with continuous activation between times, but somehow the restrictions then don't work at the display goes off constantly. Is this just broken, or what the hell am I missing?

Edit: And yes, I have the AM/PM settings right as well, even though THAT COULD'T MORE STUPID WAY OF TELLING TIME, learn to count to 24. Just saying.

*sigh* Alright, somehow, the continuous activation between times works, only it triggers the display once when you select it. I'm going to go with that, one display a night, saves me money.

I too cannot get the fireworks to go off with a timer setting. I've watched videos over and over and looked at every option until I feel like my eyes are crossed.

I downloaded other peoples shows that I only needed to add the times I want it to run and it still doesn't work.

I'm going to try setting a limiting time and just set to continuous to see if that works like you've mentioned here.
