Thirsty Teens
Awkward title I know, but teens in my park have a low rating for thirst despite the multitiude of drink options. Just wondering if anyone has figured out what teens crave. To drink I mean.

I've never been able to confirm or deny that different age ranges of guests have their own general preferences but if I had to take a guess, probably energy drinks, soda and slushes as the top 3, in that order. That or whatever's really cheap/free. And you can never go wrong with just plain water. If they're thirsty enough, they'll drink it. :)

I think the whole shops function needs some updating. Peeps do not seem to wonder off to food and drink plazas which in real life themeparks is really how it works.

Maybe they could add some sort of option like in simcity where you colour an area and label it.. like food courts etc.

I placed heaps of shops of all kinds most have low workload yey still keep getting messages peeps are thirsty.

don't just put one type of shop put them all around including water.

I make specific "food courts" in a few areas with multiple shops each and this seems to work, usually they'll see a queue and think "ugh not going there too busy" but if there's a few shops and one is avail they'll go there instead (most of the time anyway). You might end up with one or two "dud" shops that way though. At least they can be closed though.

So far I've found that Teens gravitate more toward Gulpee Soda and Gulpee Slush shops, and prefer Gulpee Energy for a boost. But that's my observations.

did you ever figure out a definite way to make it work? :/

How do you know it's just teens that are thirsty?

Thirst seems to be the biggest problem with rides with long lines. Check the peeps in line close to the ride entrance, and you'll see they are typically thirsty. Obviously, drink shops near the exit will get lots of sales.

What I believe, is that you can pretty much ignore the "thirsty peeps" message, because they are thirsty while waiting, and you can do nothing about it. If you don't shorten your lines, you will always have the same amount of thirsty peeps. The solution isn't more drink shops. LOL

Some vending machines in the queues would be nice :)
