Report a translation problem
If your coaster uses anything like a hydraulic launch, brakes, or other elements that allow you to modify values such as acceleration speed, try messing around with those values.
On the other hand, if your coaster isn't even close to 8/5 maybe try a complete redesign. A pretty good starting point might be to just make a Sprint 500 coaster that launches the guests straight very fast (100mph-ish) and then gradually goes into a vertical climb. Guests get excited when they go fast, and they don't get very afraid until they start TURNING fast.
