Right now there is no way to put up a sign to block a path from guests, but they're better about not using a path unless it actually takes them some place. So, for instance, if you only have a path from a ride exit to the main path, peeps will not wonder down that exit path on their own. Now if you placed a bathroom or shop on that path as well, they will.
I really suggest watching YT vids for tips and tricks on building, that's how I learned and I am way better now than I was on my first try. I really think the key to building is looking at each piece and how it can be rotated to be used for something other than it's naturally intended for.
