Block brakes not working?
So I'm fairly new to this game, just finished my first coaster, a prototype wing, and I can't get the block sections to work. As far as I've read and from my knowledge, the station and the top of a chain hill both count as block stations in the first place, which means I should be able to run two trains. I also have a block station before the station, so I don't see why I'm not able to add in a second train. I can't even turn on the "Block Sectioned" box. Any help?

I've never built a prototype wing coaster, but it may be possible that block sections simply aren't allowed for that track type. I notice the same thing with the Sprint 500 coaster.

On other track types, once you add at least one block brake (not including the chain lift or the station) you can check the "Block Sectioned" option and add additional trains.

I thought I'd explain this as well.

You're sort of right. Chain lifts and stations functionally serve as block brakes. But you still need a third block brake to support two trains. Remember, trains won't move until the next block brake is clear. If train A is at the top of the chain lift waiting for train B to clear the station and train B is in the station waiting for train A to clear the chain lift.... you're kinda stuck.

JC is right, add a third block brake as your last piece before your return to station. That should work, although your timing might not be perfect.

Do you have the coaster running/testing?

You can only change that setting if the coaster is turned off.

You're right if the ride is open. You should be able to change those settings when testing, though.
