Nearly 30 coaster types and loads of rides.
It does focus a lot more on building things and decorating your park. The management is fairly simple and easy to figure out; not much different than RCT3, imo. Also, there isn't as much ride variety as RCT3 (no pools, water rides, or animal exhibits... yet) but it isn't too bad as @Jake Muss mentioned above. Plus the game is being updated with new content and features over time.
Basically, if you're into building your park, get it. If you're mainly into managing your park (like in a tycoon game), this may not be for you. Overall, coming from RCT3, this game has my recommendation. :)
Oh yes how could I forget that one! If you like want to build a MASSIVE park(ing garage), get that game. Only downside is that there are no coasters, except for like two or three in the Workshop (none of which are actually capable of visibly working), but that's quickly masked by the fact that there is a legit merry-go-round AND bouncy house in the vanilla game! The rest of the buildings allow guests to live a typical civilian lifestyle without ever having to leave your park.
TL;DR It's a great theme park sim, minus the whole "theme park" part. ;D
THANK YOU!! I been scouring the internet for this. I was worried about wasting money on planet coaster for this exact reason. I'm def more into management than just building. I'll be getting RCT 3 instead.
So, if you want that kind of thing, you might be better off just staying with RCT3.
New necromancy record holder.
