Cannot load savegame, data corrupt

I just tried to continue my game from yesterday and had to find out, that I cannot load the 5 most recent save files (+ autosaves).

This is the error i get:

Hi mosfet,
please try/check following:

• We recommend running the game as an admin user.
  
  • To do so, right-click on the game .exe (by default: C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Tropico 6) and/or shortcut and select “run as administrator”.
• Please check, if Steam and Tropico 6 is not being restricted/blocked by your Anti-Virus program (such as e.g. bitdefender, Windows Defender, Nortan, Avast, and any other).
  Simply set exceptions for both applications.
  
  • At own risk: Maybe even disabling them in order to test

if this is the case, please send you (broken) savegames to our technical support that we can have a closer look into this one:

Yeah! 6 hours... All lost! Autosaves too! All of them O_o

Had the same issue. Savegame and all autosaves are broken.

Had the same problem.. went back to an earlier save (5 hours game play) NOW I JUST HIT F5 every minute. ERROR COULD NOT LOAD SAVED GAME... what is this 1999 LMAO

I have the same problem., but no error message. Just hung game loading then blink game dumps to desktop

Adding my name to the list of corrupted saves. Was on an RNG map in coldwar era with around 650 people and had just started generating electricity. Pretty disappointed by the loss of progress and pretty discouraged to play knowing it can happen now.

Same here. Got about 6 hours in, and now all my saves are corrupt. They load all the way, and then instead of transitioning into the game, the music stops and it exits to my desktop. Hope you come up with a patch soon, I was enjoying the game!

The devs are checking the provided corrupted saves and try to fix that issue for you!
