Not getting any achievements

Greetings! My friend has recommended me this game and I bought it recently. In my first session, I got 3 achievements, but I've completed the 1st and 2nd missions but I can't get the achievements.

I am trying to find what may be causing this. I am not using mods, however, the game updated automatically before I played it for the second time. The only thing I changed were my language preferences, but I have changed it back and the problem did not go away. Also, I am not playing offline, I have already started Steam again, I have already checked if other games are working properly, I have reinstalled the game, and nothing. Has anyone been having trouble with this same issue? Can someone help me? Thanks in advance!

i bought the game recently as well, had 34/40 then suddenly the last 6 wouldnt pop. I ll probably reinstall.

I would kindly ask you to send a message to our support at [e-mail] with a description of the issue and the affected savegame, which should be unlocking achievements, as well as a list of which ones should be unlocked, so they can investigate.
Please make sure to also include the info whether you have used mods in the past.

Literally no achievements are going, I just got the game, did not get the achievement for even playing time. literally no Achievements.

Maybe a new bug? I only need one achievement and I completed it three times. Never popped up. Also my game crashes anytime I click out of it on one of my other monitors.

Same here. Can't get any achievements. Noticed while trying to get the trading achievement.

I never used mods and the achievements stopped popping after 12/10/2023. The prob is that they dont pop, even if u start over the map or start fresh(new installation).I ll probably wait, till u guys fix this, rather than send you all my save files. Till then, i got an island to run and a tornado is imminent.

I checked, and we have indeed a bug that disabled achievements if you never enabled any mods alltogether :( I am sorry for that.

A quick-fix would be, to go to the options menu under "Gameplay", enable mods, then click "Apply", (Edit: Then restart), then disable it again and click "Apply" again. Then restart the game.

Also, after your feedback, we discussed the Achievements & Mods issue again and decided to allow Achievements while mods are installed again (coming in next update). We figured, if someone *really* wants to cheat, he doesn't need mods for that - and there are indeed some nice mods that do not influence the difficulty at all.

Tried. Still doesn't work for the trade achievement with having all trade routes active after enabling all slots for trades.

Enabled mods. Apllied.
Disabled mods. Applied.
Restartet game.
Loaded Savegame.
Filled up all trades.
No achievement given...

I got the achievements to work again but with an extra game restart between enabling and disabling mods.

I did as coffeecat3000 said and the achievements were enabled again. It works! Thanks everyone for the help.

Hey guys,
We have just released a Hotfix which fixes cases of achievements not unlocking properly and allows achievements to be unlocked while mods are enabled.
