How the heck do you find the Pinatas? I have yet to find any :(

Click several times on the lama in the main menu to trigger the message. Then they appear at random locations in the world. Mostly in buildings and sometimes on crossings

So If I collect 10 out of 20 of them are they all on the same map or can I move on to another and continue collecting? Also does it reset if I save and quit a level?

You don't need to hit the piñatas in the main menu... the presents will be there nevertheless.

@ShadowWolf: I noticed that they stopped appearing at some odd number for me during my mission. Like 13 or so. When I quit the game and returned, another batch appeared.

Ok, I found all 20, it said I had new rewards in the palace...but I don't see anything.

Anyone know what the rewards are?

It triggers fireworks at the palace. Additionally you get a new button in the palace menu to activate the fireworks
