Tropico 7 when?

Its more than half of a decade after release of tropico 6. How long are they willing to milk this cashcow with stupid dlcs? Time for competitor to step up and fill the void

Tropico 7 has been in development for 3 years by a different developer (also owned by Kalypso, the publisher). Having Realmforge continue making DLC for T6 has no effect on it, different teams.

Maybe there will be an announcement at the end of this year
so it can be released early next year.

I hope it is arriving soon. I love this game a lot, but kinda feel it is outdated, game description, UX/QoL (?) is kinda terrible right now. Not to mention the fee income of yachts from Tropican Shores aren't well calculated.
