Penultimo's Secret Mission: quest will not work

I've been given the quest to visit shacks, and I am literally unable to visit them. When I click on El Prez, there is the button to Visit Building. But using that does not work as it usually does, and I simply can't visit the shacks.

Oh I just came to ask that same question! Same deal: el Presidente refuses to visit shacks, regardless of what the quest info says! I'm getting slammed on the mission and am hoping that this will be the one extra step I need to complete it.

thanks for reporting the issue. I could reproduce the problem here and indeed, by fixing some other issue in the last Update, we accidentally introduced that issue with El Presidentes ability to visit shacks in this quest :-(.

The bug only is present when playing the map from the beginning, so as a work-around (until this is fixed), you can save and reload the game once at any time in that map.

That should restore El Presidentes ability to visit the shacks during that quest.

Oh god thank you so much for telling us about the workaround. Trying to somehow finish that mission without it was driving me mad.
