That's also something. Money. Add another 0 to all prices and costs and incomes, and up the max money amount to make it feel a 'little' more realistic. Or several 0's, just for that slight added sense of realism. YES, a bit of extra 'realism' in a Fascist/Communist/Socialist/Dictatorship-based satirical game, I know. Just a fun weird desire for a fun weird game series.
You're a micro nation, the prices and income are relative to the population.
Why would it be? Not a single entry into this series has been in over 20 years.
There's always first time and some people do want this feature. So yeah, maybe they will add it. There is always a chance. I hope so anyway.
More and more games recently are of hybrid genre, so they should do it as well in my opinion.
You don't own a single game in this franchise on steam. It's a political sim with city building elements, please go find a series that meets your needs and stop trying to ruin this one.
Don't be such a pessimistic. I'd be happy to hear how it will ruin the game exactly?
And you need to accept that other types of games exist without feeling the need to demand they all cater to you. Stop being so entitled that you feel the need to inject your wants into a series you don't even play.
There are plenty of RTS games that already exist, meanwhile Tropico is unique in what it delivers. Stop asking for it to be another generic game in a genre you can already go play. There's literally no other game series to replace Tropico for the extent that it provides.
Other city-builder focused games don't offer the political or story elements that Tropico does. You're asking to ditch something unique, just to morph it into a genre that is already littered with options.
No, I will not respect your opinion on a game franchise you don't even play.
You demand others respect your opinion? You don't respect theirs and deserve none in return. Pessimist? No, realist, I'm aware that this franchise is unique and don't have any interest in having it become "just like the rest" as you are ********** suggesting.
And beyond that there's no point in explaining it to you further, you're clearly not able to respect others opinions anyway, so go ahead and repeat yourself, hopefully you'll be ignored.
On the contrary, I did want to hear your opinion. Why would it harm the story/political elements?
Oh my gosh this guy looks like he is a part of UBISOFT! That is a NO for me, then.

Kalypso Media is putting Tropico 7 into experienced developer hands: The team from Gaming Minds Studios ( Railway Empire ) is now taking care of the construction game.
In the official funding database, Tropico 7 is still listed as a game from the newly founded company Nine World Studios in Munich: With a grant of €1.97 million, the construction strategy game is one of the largest projects in the country . But with the announced Nine World "restructuring" in summer 2023, changes were already becoming apparent - prompted by "different opinions" about the direction of Tropico 7 and "significant cost increases" .
As of today, it is official: The Rhineland-Palatinate publisher Kalypso Media is locating the development of Tropico 7 at its in-house Gaming Minds Studios in Gütersloh - the project is moving from Bavaria to NRW. Gaming Minds has made a name for itself with lavish economic simulations and strategy games such as Port Royale , Grand Ages: Medieval and Railway Empire 2 - in January 2020, Kalypso Media acquired all shares in the company .
Kalypso Media also wants the fact that Nine Worlds Studios GmbH, which only opened in 2021, is now being incorporated into Gaming Minds Studios to be understood as a commitment to Germany as a location. After all, a large number of national and international developers have been working on the Tropico brand since 2001.
Studio manager Daniel Dumont: "Over the more than 22 years of Tropico's history, a large and strong community has been formed. Our most creative minds will work to ensure that Tropico 7 becomes a real milestone for the numerous fans as well as for Kalypso."
Kalypso Managing Director Anika Thun: "I have great confidence in our development team in Gütersloh, which has many years of expertise in the field of strategy. As a company, we are thus once again reaffirming our commitment to Germany as a business location, despite the difficult international situation and the sometimes significantly more favorable conditions abroad."
There is no concrete release date for Tropico 7 yet – all that is certain so far is that the game will be produced for PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S.
Although Nine World Studios no longer exists, the Tropico brand still has a Bavarian DNA: By the end of the year, the Munich-based Kalypso subsidiary Realmforge ( Dungeons 4 ) is to create additional content for the Tropico 6 Season Pass - in this case, the federal government is contributing €932,218. Realmforge took over the completion of Tropico 6 in 2020. Limbic Entertainment ( Park Beyond ) in Langen, Hesse, now a Bandai Namco subsidiary, had previously worked on the game .
The Kalypso Media Group, with headquarters in Worms, is one of the few owner-managed publishers in Germany: the company employs more than 200 people at ten locations worldwide - including three studios in Germany. The Claymore Game Studios in Darmstadt are working in parallel on the next Commandos game .
