Announce in 2025-2026, release in 2027-2029
It was already announced in 2021 when Nine Worlds Studio was formed. It's already been in development for a couple of years.
Which developers are you expecting to answer? Because 7 isn't made by the same developers as 6 and you're on 6's forum. Much like 6 wasn't made by the same developers as 5 either.
Yes, it has been in development for several years, but I would not call that news a full-fledged announcement. That's why I'm counting on the official announce of T7 in the middle of this decade. After all, judging by the internal files, at least one major DLC is planned for T6. So at least after 2025, IMO
An announcement is when they tell you that it's started development. This has already occurred. Official just means it comes from the actual publisher or developer; and that's where it came from. So it's already been officially announced, it didn't come from some third party gossip or rumors site.
You're waiting for some meaningless duplicate announcement to pretend that that's the "official announcement" when it has already been announced from an official source.
Also, since 6 and 7 are from different developers it's meaningless to judge how many DLC are remaining on 6. 6 isn't even being maintained by the same developer that made 6 to begin with, there's 3 different developers across just the two games being discussed. This series has changed developers six times. Judging anything based on "internal files" when most of them don't even share engines is silly, there's no one developer with any long term plan for the next game here.
You're basically just making up nonsense based on nothing.
However, it does seem like they are aiming for a March/2026 time frame, based on the diagram in the article.
Seems likely as well that it would take at least another 2 years before it's ready.
Lol.
Dunno Tropico 6 feels so bad compared to 5...and is like a terrible game compared to 4.
It just seems like none of the systems are working even remotely appropriately like in the prevous titles:)
