My save !!!!

There was an (unannounced) update just before I played and my savegame won't start.
I've tried to load a previous savegame from this card and same thing, it stops and returns to the main menu after a corrupt savegame announcement.

I ran this map with the "video game studio" mod (just that one) and I haven't even built it in my city yet.

I try to run it with or without the mod, bug.
I go to Steam and check the game data, relaunch it and try loading my map again, bug.

After several unsuccessful attempts on this map, I finally had a city that ran really well and was soon going to move into the modern era.
Spending several hours on a map and not being able to go back to it is really frustrating.
Especially if the problem comes from the mod I'm not even using.

Your new system for creating mods is all well and good, but if it causes the game to bug, that's no good.

What do I do? Start all from the beginning? (that's boring) Wait for a solution from you? (when?)

In short... I think I'll take the first option, but please take my report into account. To fix this (or delete this mod), so that it doesn't happen to anyone else.

I have the same problem..I cannot load my saved sandbox games.

After installing the mod T6 warns you that your save was created w/o the mod and asks if you want do disable it (yes-option) or load it with it (no-option) ofc you need to load the save with the mod enabled

Activated or not, the save doesn't load.
I made that clear ;-)
Anyway, I've started the map again.
I still have to spend hours "trying" to get back to the same situation (which was finally very good).
It's not that I don't like playing this game that I love, it's just that when you play a game for hours on end and the last save you made crashes, it's a bit maddening.
And that goes for any game.

And it wasn't on a sandbox map, but in one of the game's final missions (which was pretty tough).

We have a suspicion of what is causing the issue with the corrupted savegames and are currently working on a fix, which we will try to release during the course of the day. We will keep you posted.

There is a mod which allows to force load saves. It worked for me.

!! REMOVE DUNGEON ENTRANCE !! SAVEGAMES AT RISK!

Affected are players that played between the 1st and the 5th of october, and built the Dungeon Entrance, which was available in the game by accident.
To ensure your savegames will not be permanently corrupted after the next Update for Tropico 6 on the 12th of October:

PLEASE MAKE SURE TO REMOVE THE "DUNGEON ENTRANCE" FROM YOUR CURRENT MAPS BEFORE OCTOBER 12TH IN CASE YOU HAVE BUILT IT.

You will be able to utilize it again in the future.

I passed the 12th of October.
And what can i do? I guess nothing. Disapponted
